...then expand it.  It may just pay off!   Now food is my primary focus but I have put very little emphasis on the beverage section of this category.   A few weeks ago I realized my portfolio was lacking beverages shots,  My solution to this dilemma was to start to create beverage images as a self imposed assignment.   Well, it just so happened the same week I completed my "assignment",  I was approached by a client to create images for their new ladies night drink menu.   The timing was perfect.  With excitement and a little hesitation I took the job.  It was totally worth it.   I shot the job this week and I'm so happy that I took on this challenge.  It really allowed me to test and push my limits, along with building my confidence in working with beverages.

It's easy to become creatures of habit and just stick with what works for you.  But every once in a while when you get out of your comfort zone, a whole new world can open up for you.  I'd encourage anyone to take that leap from time to time.  I promise you'll grow by leaps and bounds.
