Changing It Up
Needless to say it was a treat to relive it, with the images I came back with. The post processing experience with these images was new territory for me. A majority of the time I do not do a ton of post on my images, just the basics. However, for some reason the images I captured on this trip were begging me to push my comfort zone to just a bit over the edge. I am pleased with the results. I find that the final images speak perfectly to the way I want to hold this trip in my memory. They are bright, light and colorful. I owe my new outlook regarding post processing to Trey Ratcliff (www.stuckincustoms.com). He opened my eyes to the idea that creating the image doesn't stop once the shutter clicks but rather the fun has just begun. As long as you have a properly exposed image the options for you to put your own unique creative touch on that image are endless. So with that in mind I decided to take a majority of these images to a painterly level. More of these images can be found in my travel gallery. Click here.... Pacific Coast Hwy, CA Cheers!
