DSC01684      Well when it rains it pours.  No pun intended in light of Sandy's recent attack on the east coast, a region I hold dear to my heart.   But just like with Sandy's path, this past month has had a surge of momentum that once it got going there was no slowing it down.  Fortunately, the down pour we experienced was positive in nature.  October was very exciting and busy for my husband and me.  We closed on a new house at the end of September, took possession a week later, and moved in Oct 4th.  That's when the boxes took over.  This is our dining room after the move.  Not much dining going on, as you can see.

     In addition to organizing a new house,  I also had an influx of photography opportunities come my way.  Therefore, throughout the month of October I found myself splitting my time.   I delegated it mostly between turning our new house into a home and working with a number of talented Columbus photographers on a variety of photography project.  

     I'm happy to say that after taking a month off of my normal routine and really focusing on unpacking, a majority of these boxes have gone away.  The photography projects are still coming my way and for this I am grateful.  I now look forward to starting into a new routine of creating and posting delicious recipes along with continuing to collaborate on projects throughout Columbus.  I look forward to seeing you again starting next week with recipes and food imagery in tow.
