Spring Fever
I started with searching for a new center piece for our dining room table. I went to the usual stores, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Tuesday Morning, but none had what I was looking for. It wasn't until I arrived at Old Time Pottery, that everything started to come together. Well sort of, at first they didn't have what I wanted. It wasn't until my second lap around the store that I found the base of the centerpiece. The yellow potter piece is actually meant to be used as a flower pot. However since, I have a cat that loves to eat plants, so I knew that there was no way I could use real flowers, so I found the candles. After deciding on the candle color it still wasn't quite finished. I mosied over to the artificial flower section, and after some trial and error with different colors and types of flowers I came upon these perfect yellow flowers on a long vine. I weaved them around the three pots and it was perfect. I'm really happy with how it turned out and more importantly it brightens my day even on a cloudy spring day in Ohio. How are you getting ready for Spring?
