Not Your Average Cookies
This cookie recipe comes from my cousin Chrissy's collection. She wrote on the recipe card that this is the Original Toll House Cookie recipe. Here's exactly what she wrote on her recipe card.... "Printed in James Beard American Cookery....Ruth Wakefield, who ran the Toll House Restaurant in Massachusetts, made these cookies popular.... Nestle bought the rights and changed the recipe. The following is the original recipe and our family favorite" This is quickly becoming one of my favorite recipes too. My husband jokingly begged me not to share them with anyone, they're just too good. As good as they are, cookies in my mind are meant to be shared. Otherwise they'll all go to my waist line....lol. Hope you enjoy sharing these yummy cookies with your family and friends too. Original Toll House Cookies (by. C.
