Baked Chicken Pasta
It will easily be a dish that I make in the future. It is super simple with little cleanup and it's oh so tasty. Baked Chicken Pasta (by A. McCarthy) Ingredients: 4 boneless chicken breasts, 1 package of fresh mushrooms, 1 small can of diced tomatoes (I got the can with basil/oregano/garlic), 1 can of Hunt's spaghetti sauce (I got 100% Natural Hunt's Tomato Sauce), 3 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp Jane's Krazy Mixed Up Salt, 1 tsp dried onion Instructions: Pre-heat oven 350* 1. Brown chicken, mushroom, dried onion, Jane's Krazy Mixed Up Salt, 2 tsp Italian seasoning. 2. Once above ingredients are ready, mix tomatoes, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, and sauce in a bowl. 3. I transferred browned ingredients into 9x13 Pyrex baking dish** and then poured sauce mixer over everything. 4. Bake for 45 min to 1 hour. 5. Toward the end of the hour boil pasta. 6. Serve pasta with chicken and sauce. **Now that I'm thinking about it I can remember Mom using a cast iron pan for browning the first ingredients. Then she would pour the sauce mixture directly into the pan and put that pan in the oven. This would eliminate an additional item to clean. Totally up to you. Enjoy!
