Here we go.........
Happy St. Patrick's Day!! I'm super excited to add blogging to my ever growing collection of social networking. I find it appropriate that it's debut is on St. Patrick's day. Hopefully this will give me a little luck o' the Irish as I start this exciting and terrifying endeavor (at least for me). As those who know me can attest to, I'm a rather private individual. So putting myself out there is not a part of my natural state of being. However, I believe that we all encounter our own personal road blocks as we work towards our goals. So my plan is to charge through my road block by sharing my work with others, in the hope that it will become easier with practice over time. Besides I'd be crazy not to, since it's so easy to connect with people these days, especially total strangers. Isn't it fascinating how far we've come? I'm going to date myself but I can remember when cell phones did not belong to the masses. In middle school, it was a beeper or pager that was the cool device to own, and that was even a rare occurrence. Those maybe one in the same, I can't remember. Ha! Anyways, my point is I can remember living in a time when we were not constantly connected as we are now a days. Even though I sometimes miss those days, of being peacefully disconnected. I can also see the benefits and possibilities that are presented to us on a daily basis because we can connect so easily. So since I'm new to using all the networks out there to my full advantage I've found that I need one main control center to manage them all (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In etc). In researching different services I've found Flavors.me, Hootsuite, and Sprout Social. All appear on paper to be exactly what I'm looking for, the only variable is what they cost to use. My question to you is which, if any would you recommend? I'm leaning towards starting off with Flavors.me but am also open to suggestions. I thank you in advance for your help! Cheers!
